TriVex is a system created for minimally invasive powered vein removal. Not everyone is a candidate for vein removal with VNUS Closure and foam sclerotherapy. Occasionally people’s vein branches are too extensive to manage effectively. In that case, TriVex veinectomy is highly effective.

• TriVex offers a means to remove the varicose veins without unsightly large incisions. A wand is inserted under the skin through an incision of only 3-4 mm.
• This offers very thorough varicose vein excision, but is usually combined with a procedure to treat the saphenous vein also (stripping or VNUS Closure).
• Though minimally invasive, TriVex does remove tissue and therefore requires some healing time. May require up to 1 week off work, and 3-4 weeks of daytime support stocking wear.
