Dr. McComas graduated from medical school at the
UT Health Sciences Center in San Antonio in 1978.
He undertook his general and vascular surgery training
at East Tennessee State University.
He is a former Assistant Professor of Surgery at
East Tennessee State.
Dr. McComas is board certified by the American Board
of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons.
He has practiced general and vascular surgery at
Magic Valley since 1986.
He is the medical director of the MVRMC non-invasive
vascular lab. Dr. McComas is one of the few physicians
in the country also certified as a registered vascular
technician (RVT).
Dr. McComas has extensive experience and training
in venous disease and in advanced venous techniques.
