- Dr. McComas graduated from medical school at the
UT Health Sciences Center in San Antonio in 1978.
- He undertook his general and vascular surgery training
at East Tennessee State University.
- He is a former Assistant Professor of Surgery at
East Tennessee State.
- Dr. McComas is board certified by the American Board
of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of
Surgeons.
- He has practiced general and vascular surgery at
Magic Valley since 1986.
- He is the medical director of the MVRMC non-invasive
vascular lab. Dr. McComas is one of the few physicians
in the country also certified as a registered vascular
technician (RVT).
- Dr. McComas has extensive experience and training
in venous disease and in advanced venous techniques.
